Ranveer Singh Seen Criticizing PM Narendra Modi Ahead Of Elections In This Deepfake Video

Ranveer Singh's Deepfake Video Of Criticizing PM Modi Amid National Elections Goes Viral, Watch

The Indian national elections are around the corner, and it is time for India to unfold a new chapter in its history of politics. With people having one of the most powerful weapons in their hands (we mean the right to vote), the battle over who will be the best leader has already begun. Amidst the same, a video by Ranveer Singh criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been going viral on the internet.A video of the Simmba actor backlashing the Indian prime minister over inflation and unemployment is yet another deepfake video that seems to be rather alarming. The clip was made with the artificial intelligence voiceover of Ranveer Singh.Artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot Boom found that the voiceover was digitally altered using a synthetic voice clone. In the original video, the actor can be seen talking to ANI, where he is praising the prime minister.Ranveer Singh's deepfake video of criticizing PM ModiThe interview was conducted when the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor was on a tour at Kashi along with Kriti Sanon. The two were there to grace a fashion show and promote the #VocalForLocal campaign hosted by the government.During his trip to the spiritual city, Ranveer sat down for a candid chat with ANI. He spoke about supporting local businesses, how India is progressing among the world economies, and also spoke highly of Narendra Modi. Also Read: Kangana Ranaut To Shatrughan Sinha, Actors Who Will Run For Lok Sabha Elections 2024However, a clip from his interview was picked up and doctored using artificial intelligence voiceover, in which he was seen criticizing the government.#WATCH | Uttar Pradesh: Actor Ranveer Singh says, "I cannot express in words the experience that I have had today. Life long I have been a devotee of lord Shiva and I have come here for the first time..." pic.twitter.com/4s2j7R0x7Fmdash ANI (@ANI) April 14, 2024In the 42-second short video, Ranveer Singh can be heard saying, "This is Modiji's purpose. He intended to celebrate our sad lives, our fear, our unemployment, and our inflation. Because our India is now heading towards a time of injustice at such a pace, we should never stop demanding our development and justice this is why we must think and vote."The video later urges people to vote for Congress instead. Netizens think this video has been altered by someone who is anti-Modi.This is not the first time a celebrity has become a victim of AI alterations. Earlier this week, another cloned video of Aamir Khan targeting the Prime Minister was shared by several Congress administrators. What is Boom? The artificial intelligence chatbot is an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur's creation. It helps with deepfake detection using an advanced tool named Itisaar. Using the same, experts could determine that Ranveer Singh's video was rather fake and cloned. The lip sync and the audio in the clip are not in sync. In addition, the voiceover seems to be rather inconstant. The test determined there was "clear audiospoof detected on the potentially doctored clip, while frames appear to be entirely real."It also said the audio appears to be totally AI-cloned.Ranveer Singh praises PM Narendra ModiAhead of the national elections, the father-to-be was seen heaping praise on India's prime minister and his vision to celebrate the country's rich culture and heritage."I am filled with joy seeing all of this. This was Modiji's vision to celebrate our rich cultural heritage, history, and legacy. India is progressing towards modernity at a remarkable pace, but we must never forget our roots and cultural heritage," Ranveer said.View this post on InstagramA post shared by Kriti (@kritisanon)Also Read: 5 Times Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Spoke About Having KidsHe further added, That's why development with heritage is crucial - it's a blend of the past and the future. I have had the pleasure of meeting and welcoming some foreigners inside."The Lok Sabha elections start from April 19 to May 20 in Maharashtra.

ABOUT US

Radio City is India's first private FM station. Aired in 2001, Radio City 91.1 has always thrived to make their listeners experience every decade's legacy through various forms of entertainment. Radio jockeys (RJs), here, are your long distant companions who entertain you, solve your love life complications, and keep you updated with what's going on while playing your favourite music.
Today after two decades, Radio City 91.1 has evolved from being just a radio station. Walking into the digital era, we have designed web radio - a platform where you can listen to online radio on the go without worrying about the hassles of frequency. Web radio is available in every regional language Radio City caters to.
Along with this, you can find trending entertainment & Bollywood news on Radio City website. From B-town news, movie reviews, entertainment videos, celebrity photos, RJ podcasts, and latest online songs you will find everything populated under one roof.

Radio City has redefined the evolution of FM by creating and offering content that's innovative and path-breaking, Radio City Freedom Awards (RCFA)- a brainchild of the network - was created to recognize, encourage, and uplift independent music. We advocate for creativity and dedication of indie artists to give us masterpieces that are your personal earworms.
