Shocking! Oklahoma Man Accused Of Shooting At His Family During A Game Of Monopoly
An Oklahoma man was arrested after shooting at family members during a family game of Monopoly. According to the reports, John Armstrong and his stepfather got into an argument while playing the game and did something uncertain.
'It escalated quickly from family game night to furniture being turned over and game pieces all over the floor' said Tulsa Police Department Officer Danny Bean.
At some point, Armstrong and his stepfather took the argument outside, which is when he began to chase the man and his stepsister down the street. He then pointed the gun at them, and informed the police he fired a single shot 'at the ground'.
'He said he was aiming for the ground when he shot at them' Bean said. 'But we came close to having a homicide over a game of Monopoly.'
The stepsister called the police and claimed one shot was fired at her during the confrontation. Police arrived and arrested Armstrong. He's since been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
