While chatting up with Parag Chhapekar for in a promotional interview for the second season of 'Mirzapur', the actor confessed that the audience relates him to his character of Kaleen Bhaiya to such an extent that he is often addressed by his on-screen name.

'The stature of Kaleen Bhaiya is above my name. Wherever I go, people like to address me as Kaleen Bhaiya'. Sometimes, I get apprehensive that its popularity should not prove to be a hindrance for me in my upcoming projects. But then, I also take it as a blessing in disguise and feel that the reach and engagement I get through Kaleen Bhaiya will help me gather attention for every role that I do.'
