The past few years have seen a revolutionary change in Indian cinema. While content is taking over the cast, the audience is now looking forward to meaningful stories rather than fatuous movies. The 70th National Award celebrated such stories and masterminds behind them.
The prestigious National Award ceremony took place at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, where the President of India Droupadi Murmu felicitated and honored the award winners.
The recipients of this year's awards were announced back in August. However, it was on Monday, Tuesday, October 8, when the ceremony was hosted in the country's capital.

The entire Indian cinema from Bollywood to the South was gathered at Vigyan Bhavan, where they were recognized for their incredible contribution to the world of entertainment.

President Murmu recognized the influential role of films, music, and social media in society. Notable winners also included Mithun Chakraborty, who won the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his immense endowment to Indian cinema.
