Dunki Teaser: SRK Finds His Santa Claus In Rajkumar Hirani And Taapsee Pannu, Announces A New Movie

No more FOMO for Shah Rukh Khan as he is all set to work with his dream director, Rajkumar Hirani. Both, the actor and the director come together to announce their next movie titled Dunki. Also starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead, the movie is all set to hit the floors on 23rd December, 2023.

From what we got a gist, the upcoming movie will be a mix of action, romance, comedy, and more. SRK took to twitter saying, 'Dear @hirani.rajkumar sir, Aap toh Mere Santa Claus nikle. Aap shuru karo main time pe pahunch jaunga. actually, main toh set par hi rehne lagunga! Feeling humbled and excited to finally work with you. Bringing to you all #Dunki in cinemas on 22nd December 2023.'

Confirming the news, Hirani said, 'Through the course of my career Shah Rukh Khan has always been on my wish list and after trying to collaborate several times in the past, we were finally destined to have 'Dunki' mark our partnership. The energy, charisma, humour and charm that he brings to a film is unparalleled and I look forward to bringing that magic to the big screen.'

The film went on floors on April 2022. The next schedule will be extensively shot in Punjab.

Expressing her excitement for this project, Pannu commented, 'I am beyond excited to embark on this journey and be a part of this very special film. It's my first time working with Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan, two people who I deeply respect and admire.'

While King Khan will be seen soon on the big screens in Pathaan, the Pink actress' upcoming movie Shabash Mithu is a biography on former Indian Women Cricket Team's captain Mithali Raj.
