A Special Tribute For Amitabh Bachchan: Fans To Celebrate His Birthday In Cinemas At Midnight

Bollywood fans must be aware that cinemas have started re-running the timeless cult movies of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan to celebrate his 80th birthday. The actor turned a year older on October 11. To pay a tribute to him, Film Heritage Foundation and director R Balki have teamed up to add something moe to the celebrations. As per the reports, FHF's Shivendra Singh Dungarpur and the filmmaker have decided to stop screenings sharp at 12:00 in the midnight, so the fans can sing 'Happy Birthday' for the megastar.
This happened in all cinemas across Mumbai where Amitabh Bachchan's iconic movies were played where fans came together to celebrate his birthday. Shivendra Singh said, 'This is happening all over the country where Mr Bachchan's films are being played as a part of our festival's initiative. Meanwhile, at Juhu PVR we are playingAmar Akbar Anthonytoday, and a lot of dignitaries from the film industry are attending the screening where they will join us to sing the 'Happy Birthday' song for Mr. Bachchan at 12 sharp. This is going to be huge.'
For the unversed, in lieu of Amitabh Bachchan's birthday, theatres and multiplexes joined hands to for a four day larger than life festival called, "Bachchan: Back To The Beginning" where some of the best movies of the superstar will be screened. Among his many Bollywood films, the ones selected are Amar Akbar Anthony, Don, Deewar, and more. Besides that, his recent release Goodbye alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta will also see a discounted ticket price at just Rs. 80 on October 11.
