Blessy credits Mammootty for encouraging him to write scripts

The director of Aadujeevitham attended an event in Kochi organised by Manoramaonline and Jain School of Design, Media, and Creative Arts called the 'Survivors Meet'. During the event, Blessy discussed the start of his career and how he began writing scripts for his movies. He shared that Mammootty encouraged him to write the movie himself instead of relying on others.

The filmmaker shared, 'When I told him (Mammootty) my plans to approach a few scriptwriters like Lohitadas and Sreenivasan, he wondered why I couldn't write the story. I shared my limitations with him, but he insisted I should write the script. He said I could approach the other writers if it isn't up to the mark. Thankfully, all the screenwriters whom I approached were unable to commit to my project, following which I was compelled to write my own story.'

Thanks to Mammootty's support, Kazhcha became Blessy's first project as a screenwriter. Since then, the director has made it a habit to write his own scripts to deliver the best work in his films. Kazhcha was a successful film that won several accolades.
