Aashiqui 3: Neither Jennifer Winget Nor Shraddha Kapoor. This Diva Will Be Seen With Kartik Aaryan

On September 5, the third installment of Aashiqui was announced. The movie stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2 were super hits at the box office and therefore there are many expectations from part 3 of the movie. There were speculations that either Jennifer Winget or Shraddha Kapoor will be cast against Kartik Aaryan. But both of these actresses are not the maker's choice.

Reacting to these rumors, the makers release the statement "There is no truth to any rumors pertaining to the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3. The search for the perfect fit for the movie is still ongoing. We are currently in a very early stage where we are still coming up with ideas for the movie. Much like the audience, we are eagerly awaiting to finalize the female lead of the film and would love to share it with the fans as early as possible."

Kartik expressed his joy over being a part of Aashiqui 3. In a statement, the actor said that he grew up watching the first part of Aashiqui, and doing the third part is like a dream come true for him. "I feel privileged yet grateful for collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I've been a big fan of Anurag Basu's work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways," said Kartik.

Aashiqui 3, an everlasting love saga will be helmed by Anurag Basu.
