Actor Shreyas Talpade Suffers Heart Attack at 47 on sets of Welcome to the Jungle

In shocking news, Golmal Returns actor Shreyas Talpade had a heart attack on Thursday evening as he was shooting for his upcoming film, "Welcome to the Jungle," in Mumbai the entire day. After that, he was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent angioplasty at Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West. The actor is 47 years old.
It is reported that he was doing fine through the day and shot for the upcoming multi-starrer without facing any issues. He was joking around with everyone and was in a normal state on the set during the day. Along with that, he also shot some action sequences. After that, when he went back home, he complained to his wife that he was feeling uneasy. While he was being rushed to the hospital, he collapsed on the way.
Welcome to the Jungle went on floors just on Wednesday in Mumbai. With a massive star cast, the film is an action-comedy that is directed by Ahmed Khan. It is written by Farhan Samji. It stars Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Sanjay Dutt, Rahul Dev, and singer-brothers Daler Mehndi and Mika Singh.

Shreyas Talpade is a well-known face in the Hindi and Marathi film industries. He has starred in some pathbreaking films like Iqbal (2005), Dor (2006), and Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008). He has also starred in entertainers like Om Shanti Om (2007), Golmaal Returns (2008), and Housefull 2 (2012).

He turned director with Poster Boys, starring Sunny Deol, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol. It was a remake of the Marathi film, Poshter Boyz. Shreyas also acted in the film, apart from co-writing and directing it.
He was last seen in Kaun Pravin Tambe in 2022, where his performance received critical acclaim. It was based on the life of cricketer Pravin Tambe, who turned to cricket much later in his life and became a successful spinner.
He will next be seen in Emergency, directed by Kangana Ranaut, which is currently under production.
