Adipurush: Makers Share The New Poster Of The Film On Ram Navami Starring Prabhas And Kriti Sanon

Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush has been creating a lot of buzzes since it was announced. Now, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi, the makers have shared the new poster of the film to surprise the audience.On Thursday, Prabhas took to his Instagram handle and unveiled the new poster featuring himself as Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Sunny Singh as Laxman. The poster shows the trio standing together and Hanuman was seen kneeling in front of them.

Prabhas wrote in the caption, "Mantron se badhke tera naam, Jai Shri Ram (Your name is greater than mantra, Jai Shri Ram)."He wrote the words in English, Hindi, and Telugu in the caption. The hashtags used in the picture include - Jai Shri Ram, Ram Navmi, and Adipurush.

However, fans were not so happy with the poster and shared their views in the comments section of the post. One of them wrote,"Nothing against the actors, not their fault. But even the poster doesn't look promising."Another fan said,"Worst adaptation."An Instagram user also commented,"Just imagine Prabhas' Baahubali look of long hair as Lord Ramahellip it would have been awesome."One of the fans suggested Prabhas drop the project and wrote,"Better to drop this project Prabhas anna (brother)."

Directed by Om Raut, 'Adipurush' is an upcoming epic mythological film based on Ramayan which teaches us about 'the victory of good over evil". The movie features Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana.It's a huge budget film, which is being shot simultaneously in multiple languages, it's one of the most expensive films in India ever made. The film will hit the theatres in 3D on June 16.
Earlier, Kriti revealed about Adipurush with a leading media agency, and said,"It is a film that the entire team is extremely proud of. I hope and pray that people will also equally be proud of it. It is something that is so important to all of us. It is just not a film for us, it is way more than that. I hope it gets its due. I have a feeling it will. It is important to make these stories. It is educational for kids. I feel if I had not seen it then, today's children would also have not seen it."
