Amid Aishwarya-Abhishek Divorce Rumors, Amitabh Bachchan Shares An Angry Tweet

The internet and social media are filled with speculations about Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan ending their marriage. While the couple, along with the Bachchan family, has been tight-lipped about the same, Amitabh Bachchan's recent tweet seemed to be like an apt answer for ongoing gossips.

For the uninitiated, rumours about the couple splitting up started getting more intense after Aishwarya and Abhishek arrived separately at the Ambani wedding this year. While the Dhoom actor arrived with his family, the doted mother was seen posing with her daughter, Aradhya Bachchan.

Amid all these gossip and rumours, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted an angry message that left fans and netizens confused. Was this a slap to all the trolls?

The Kalki 2898 AD actor, who is rather active on the microblogging platform, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote,. "Chup" in Hindi, followed by an angry emoticon.

This has made fans and netizens worry as they are curious to know what's going on. One user wrote, "Yeh kya tha (What was this?)' while another commented, 'This single word works everywhere. Best word.'


Earlier, Big B had penned a long note in his blog and called all the speculations 'untruth.' He also slammed people who think they can write anything and everything by using a question mark at the end of their rumoured claims.

He wrote, 'It takes immense courage, conviction, and sincerity to be different and believe in its presence in life... I rarely say much about family, because that is my domain, and its privacy is maintained by me."

He also reacted to the ongoing rumours about troubles in Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan's marriage and said, 'Speculations are speculations... they are speculated untruths, without verifications."

His note further read, "Fill the world with untruth or questioned untruth, and your job is over... how it may have affected the subject individual or situation has been hand-washed away from your hands... your conscience, if ever you have one, has been overridden."

On the work front

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil. The film released this year and broke several records at the box office.

He will next be seen in Section 84, which also stars Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur in prominent roles.

Big B is all praises about Abhishek Bachchan's exceptional performance in I Want To Talk. Though it was a commercial disappointment, critics and fans praised the actor's performance.
