With the Ram Mandir's inauguration scheduled for January 22, trending news has caught our eye. Amitabh Bachchan has bought a plot in Ayodhya, and the cost of the same will shock you.
The Deewar actor is among the Indian celebrities who have been invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Amidst the development, Amitabh Bachchan buys a plot in the city worth Rs. 14.5 crore.
Yes, you read the figure right. He has invested in a monstrous 10,000 square feet of land to build a home in the spiritual capital of India. According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Amitabh has bought a plot in The Sarayu, a 7-star development in Ayudhya by the Sarayu river.
The actor's home will be developed by Mumbai's The House of Abhinandan Lodha and is located 15 minutes away from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

Talking about purchasing land in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir inauguration, Big B said, 'I am looking forward to embarking on this journey with The House of Abhinandan Lodha for The Sarayu in Ayodhya, a city that holds a special place in my heart. The timeless spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya have forged an emotional connection that transcends geographical boundaries.'

Amitabh Bachchan's home in Ayodhya will likely be built by March 2028.
Celebrities invited to the Ram Mandir Inauguration
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured January 22 will be a day to be etched in every Indian's mind forever. Many celebrities and actors have been personally invited to the inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya.Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, Dipika Chikhila, Arun Govil, and Kangana Ranaut are some of the prominent names, among others.
The Pran Pratishtha, or consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol, will start with a week-long ritual from January 16 onwards.
