Animal Advance Booking: Ranbir Kapoor starrer set to Become his Biggest Opener

Animal advance booking has spiraled up after the film's trailer left everyone surprised and unable to wait for the film's release. According to some reports, Animal is set to become the biggest opener for Ranbir Kapoor.

The film has collected over Rs. 9.75 crore just in advance bookings all over the country. With such huge numbers to begin with, an adult-rated film is extraordinary, and Animal is expected to do even better in the coming days.

Around 3 lakh tickets to the film have been sold across over 7,000 shows in the country. With the Telugu shows selling over 58,000 tickets and minting close to 92 lakhs, day 1 for Animal looks super solid.

Part of the reason for such a great response to the film is the promotional strategy that keeps everyone on their toes about any new updates regarding the film. The trailer was released just a week before its release, making its presence fresh in the minds of audiences. Another reason for the good numbers at advance booking is the return of Ranbir Kapoor to form. His last few releases haven't enjoyed the unanimous critical and commercial success they should have.

Ranbir Kapoor's last release this year was Luv Ranjan's Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar, which did over 220 crore at the box office, making it a success. Before that, Brahmastra released a mixed response in 2022, which affected his numbers. The film was highly anticipated and was expected to do phenomenally well. However, it could do a lifetime business of just over 431 crores, which, compared to its budget, wasn't commendable.

Now, with Animal, Ranbir Kapoor has eyes for the blockbuster he has been waiting for. With the Animal advance bookings paving way for the film to have an extraordinary opening, it remains to be seen how it fares after the weekend.

Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi in important roles. It has a runtime of over 3 hours and 21 minutes and has been rated 'A' by the censor board.
