Animal New Song Out: The Arijit Singh Song Is Not As Impressive

OCTOBER 27,2023
The new song from Animal, Satranga, is out. It is sung by Arijit Singh with a composition by Shreyas Puranik and lyrics by Siddharth Garima. It is another romantic novel that is set in a time when both the characters are grown up and have two kids. However, there is nothing refreshing about the song.
It begins with Ranbir Kapoor catching a glimpse of his father as they sleep. He goes to Rashmika, who plays his wife. She wakes up, and the two go to the balcony, where she sees him along with the moon.
It appears to be set during the Karvachauth rituals between husband and wife. Ranbir is wearing all black, while she is wearing an intense red.
Suddenly, there is a fight between the two, and she leaves the scene. Ranbir catches hold of her from behind as the altercation follows. This wakes up others in the house, and Anil Kapoor comes.

Later, Ranbir reconciles with her, and they rejoice yet again when Rashmika kisses him. The entire song goes on to describe the feeling of love between two people by creating metaphors of different degrees.
It ends with Ranbir Kapoor leaving and putting some conditions on his wife, asking her not to marry again if he doesn't return. He leaves as she cries.
The song doesn't manage to impress as a whole, apart from its visuals, which give a hint of the plot. Arijit Singh is trying to give his soul to the song, but something just doesn't feel right. The song doesn't entice you as much as other songs by him.
It doesn't even come close to the intense musicality of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's last film, Kabir Singh, whose songs ultimately helped it become a blockbuster. This is the second song from the film. The first song, Hua Main, was promising and was composed by Pritam with words written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.

Animal releases on December 1 and clashes with Sam Bahadur at the box office. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, the film features an ensemble of Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Shakti Kapoor in prominent roles.
It is written, directed, and edited by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who has claimed it to be even more intense than his previous films.
