Anupamaa Actress Rupali Ganguly Joins BJP Amid Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Rupali Ganguly, popular for her role in daily soaps like Anupamaa and Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party amid the Lok Sabbha elections in 2024. On Wednesday, the actress joined the BJP in New Delhi in the wake of the third phase of the ongoing elections.

Ganguly joined the BJP at the party headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of Anil Baluni, the party's national media incharge, and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, among others. The Anupamaa actress said in her joining speech, 'When I see this 'Mahayagya' of development, I feel I should also participate. I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good.'Stating her reason for joining the saffron party of India, Rupali Ganguly said, 'His working style, personality, and the way he has taken our country towards developmentmdashevery Indian wants to join 'Modi Sena' and contribute to the country, and I also felt the same, and hence I joined BJP.'
'I wish to follow in the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-ji and serve fellow citizens in whichever role I am entrusted with. I intend to work under the guidance of Amit Shah-ji and make all of my leaders and cadres proud of me,' the Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai actress added.

A few weeks ago, the Bharatiya Janata Party nominated 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress Kangana Ranaut from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh. While announcing her participation, the actress stated, 'I feel honoured and elated to join the party officially. I look forward to being a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant.'Renowned actor Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram in the epic series 'Ramayana', joined the BJP through the Meerut constituency. Veteran actress Hema Malini, Ravi Kishan, and Bhojpuri actor and singer Manoj Tiwari are also some artists contesting for seats at the upcoming election under the BJP.
