This all started when the industrialist Harsh Goenka announced on X, "A new baby is to be born in the next few days! Hope the baby takes India to great heights like the greatest cricketing father. Or will it follow the mother and be a film star?"

Users were left to wonder who this may be about as he stealthily left out the parents' names from the post. However, the internet sleuths came through and suspected that the couple was none other than Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.

Another hint towards the couple was made in the post itself, as Goenka used the hashtag, '#ToBeBornInLondon.' Virat Kohli and Anushka are currently staying in London, so it's possible they're planning to remain there until the baby is born.

AB de Villiers Reveals Pregnancy News

In January 2024, the South African cricketer AB de Villers said on his YouTube channel, "Yes, his second child is on the way. Yes, it's family time and these things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people's priority is family. You can't judge Virat for that. Yes, we miss him, but he has made the right decision."

Based on this comment, it is quite obvious that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting a second child. Until now, the couple has neither confirmed nor denied all the rumours, and the fans are waiting for an official announcement of the good news.


However, a while after his statement, the former cricketer took back his words and apologized for the uproar created on the internet.
