It was a moment of resilience and patience in Sunday's India vs. Australia match in the ICC Men's World Cup 2023. With wickets falling quickly, it was up to Virat Kohli and KL Rahul to take the lead and guide the team to victory. KL Rahul scored 97 unbeaten and showed a different class of play during the match that got him love from all corners. However, the most wholesome of these praises came from his wife, Athiya Shetty, who called him the 'Best guy ever'.

Sharing a clip from the match on her Instagram story, Athiya Shetty showered her love on the man for making the match-winning runs during the match. Rahul's partnership with Kohli was crucial for the match, as three wickets fell for India in no time. Making sure to keep the Australian side restricted to 200, the Indian bowlers did a decent job of maintaining offense. Kohli and Rahul's partnership of 165 runs made sure that India was still in the game.
KL Rahul won the Man of the Match award for his stunning run chase, and during the presentation, he shared how the atmosphere was on the pitch. Just after taking a shower, he had to rush to the ground, and he was just catching his breath in the initial moments. Virat Kohli told him to just play like it was a test match, as there were quite a lot of balls and not many runs to chase. What followed was a moment of delight for everyone watching as the two made runs on the board with ease under so much pressure.
Athiya Shetty has always been quite supportive of KL Rahul in all of his happy and sad moments. They have become the most lovable couple ever since their marriage. Even during the Asia Cup, after the India vs. Pakistan match, Athiya was all praises for KL Rahul, who had scored a knock of 111 not out against the extensive bowling by the Pakistani side. In the post that she shared on Instagram with the photo of Rahul, Athiya wrote, "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise. You are everything, I love you. #1"
