Bharti Singh’s Unfiltered Humour Lands Her In Trouble Again, FIR Filed Against The Comedian

After the viral video of Bharti Singh circulating around for a few days, she lands up in legal trouble. An FIR has been filed against as she poked fun at men with beard, which hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community.
The FIR has been filed against her at the Adampur police station. According to the FIR, she was accused of mocking the Sikh community and hurting religious sentiments. She was charged under Section 295. In the said video, Bharti had said: "Beard-moustache has many benefits drink milk and put some of the beard in your mouth, it will taste nothing less than seviyaan [dessert]." The actress-comedienne had also joked about men having lice in their beards.
Later the comedian issued an apology video addressing the issue and clarifying she had no intentions to hurt sentiments of any community.
