The CEAT Cricket Rating Awards 2024 once again celebrated the outstanding achievements of cricketers from around the world. This prestigious event honoured exceptional performances in both international and domestic arenas, recognising the dedication and talent of the sport's finest.
The awards ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Sunil Gavaskar, the Chief Adjudicator of the CEAT Cricket Ratings. Rahul Dravid, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli win big at the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards
One of the most significant awards of the evening was the CEAT Lifetime Achievement Award, which was bestowed upon Rahul Dravid. Dravid, a former India head coach, has made immense contributions to Indian cricket both as a player and a coach. His recent success in guiding the team to victory in the T20 World Cup in Barbados further solidified his legacy.Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, was crowned the Men's International Cricketer of the Year. His exceptional performances across all formats of the game have made him a formidable force in international cricket. In 2023, Rohit amassed an impressive 1,800 international runs, including 1,255 runs in ODIs, at an average of 52.59. His exceptional performance during the World Cup, where he scored 597 runs, earned him the second-highest run-scorer position in the tournament.

Virat Kohli, another Indian cricket stalwart, was honoured with the Men's ODI Batter of the Year award. Kohli's consistent performances in ODIs have been a hallmark of his career. In 2023, he accumulated 1,377 runs, including six centuries and eight fifties. His most outstanding performance came during the 2023 ODI World Cup, where he was the leading run-scorer with 765 runs in 11 matches at an astonishing average of 95.62. Kohli also achieved a historic milestone during the World Cup, equalling Sachin Tendulkar's record for the most centuries in ODI cricket.
In the women's category, Harmanpreet Kaur was acknowledged for leading India in the most T20I matches. Smriti Mandhana was honoured as the Women's Indian Batter of the Year, while Deepti Sharma received the Indian Bowler of the Year award.
