Kartik Aaryan's highly anticipated film Chandu Champion just kicked off its promotion schedule with a poster release. Shared by the film's protagonist, Kartik Aaryan, the poster showcases him in the chiselled form of an athletic person. Kartik Aryan is dressed up as a traditional wrestler of India, running on a field drenched in sweat and covered in mud.

Kartik Aryan kicked off the promotions for Chandu Champion by sharing the first look on his social media handles. Sharing his picture, the actor wrote, 'Super excited and proud to share the first poster of the most challenging and special film of my career. #ChanduChampion #14thjune.'

The caption on the poster read, "The man who refused to surrender." Likewise, the official synopsis for the film goes like this: 'A man who faced one adversary after another with an undying spirit. His unwavering zeal and never-give-up attitude led to India's first individual gold medal in any form of the Olympics.'

Just a day before the poster launch, Kartik Aaryan shared a video on Instagram featuring his dog, Katori. The promotional video showed Katori destroying the poster and an announcement that it would instead be released the next day. The caption read, 'Aaj se promotion ka shubharambh hona tha lekin. Katori ne poster hi phaad dia. Ab kal hi ayega poster (The promotional activities were supposed to begin today, but Katori tore the poster. Now, the poster will come tomorrow.)'

The upcoming film is a biopic based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming. The movie will feature his journey towards victory through numerous hardships and struggles. The film is directed by Kabir Khan, who is known for films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek Tha Tiger, and 83. Notably, this is the first time Kabir Khan and Kartik Aaryan will be collaborating on a movie. Additionally, Sajid Nadiadwala is the producer of the film, which promises to be the blockbuster of the year. Chandu Champion will be out in theatres on June 14.

Apart from this, Kartik Aaryan is also currently filming Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The upcoming film will feature Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles.
