A twist was found in the missing complaint when Sunil Pal himself contacted his family later in the day, informing them he was safe and would return late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Since Sunil had contacted his family, his wife did not file any complaint.

More about Sunil Pal
The comedian rose to fame after he won The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, a comedy show that aired in 2005. His comedy gained him small supporting roles in movies like Hum Tum (2004) and Phir Hera Pheri (2006).
In 2017, Sunil Pal stirred up a controversy after he claimed that the popular Bollywood director Anees Bazmee, who recently helmed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, had refused to pay for his performance.
'I have around 20-25 lakh stuck in the market with various producers. It is quite common in the industry for producers to pay up late. However, we, as artists, understand if a producer is genuinely out of resources or liquid money. But, when a producer like Aneesmdashwho plays in crores of rupeesmdashbehaves like this, it is not pardonable,' the comedian said.
