We've reached the halfway point of this year, and 2024 has already seen some crazy collaborations that have had the internet shaking and quaking. After performing with British singer Ed Sheeran during his Mumbai concert, Diljit Dosanjh has now united for a viral-worthy moment with Hollywood sensation Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

For those who are living under a rock, the Indian singer-actor was invited to the infamous Hollywood talk show after he gained global fame by becoming one of the first Punjabi artists to perform at Coachella.

Diljit Dosanjh set Jimmy Fallon's show on fire with his amazing bhangra movies. Dressed in his best festive attire, the host introduced the Amar Singh Chamkila actor as the 'biggest Punjabi artist on the planet.'

Pictures and videos from the singer-actor's dance performance were shared by the official Instagram handle of The Tonight Show. In the clip shared on social media, Diljit can be seen wearing traditional Punjabi white attire with a suave black jacket.

Taking it to Instagram, the talk show page's caption read, "Tonight: Diljit Dosanjh is in the building to perform Born to ShineintoG.O.A.T! #DiljitOnFallon #FallonTonight."

In case you missed it, Diljit Dosanjh and Jimmy Fallon also indulged in an adorable wordplay where the former was seen teaching the Hollywood host some Punjabi words.

Sharing the clip on Instagram, the official page of The Tonight Show wrote, "Learning how to speak Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh." See the BTS video here.


For the uninitiated, Dosanjh became the second Indian actor after Priyanka Chopra to have been invited to Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. This was followed by his successful performance at this year's Coachella and a sold-out show in Canada's Vancouver.

On the work front

The Punjabi singer-actor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's Amar Singh Chamkila alongside Parineeti Chopra. The Netflix release was based on Punjab's first rockstar, who was shot dead for his bold and controversial lyrics.

He also played a prominent role in Rhea Kapoor's Crew, which also starred Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu.

Diljit Dosanjh will next be seen in the Punjabi film Jatt and Juliet 3. It also stars Neeru Bajwa in the lead. The first part of the movie was released in 2012 and went on to collect over 24 crores worldwide.

The film is slated to release on June 28 in cinemas near you.
