Director Siddharth Anand Teased A Prequel Of John Abraham’s Character In Pathaan

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham's Pathaan has become the biggest success story of Bollywood. The actors are getting praised for their new avatars. The movie has revived the industry which made a huge loss during the pandemic.

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand who is currently enjoying the massive success of his recently released Blockbuster Pathaan opened up about the possibility of a prequel of the film. John Abraham who played the role of antagonist in Pathaan could have his spy film. The director said John's character Jim deserved a prequel, and also teased the possibility of a crossover with Hrithik Roshan's Kabir from War (2019).

When a leading media agency asked Siddharth if there could be a film with Jim's back story to which he said,'It should be, but it's too early to talk about anything. I feel Jim's character does warrant a prequel." The director also hinted that the prequel could explore the bond shared by John's Jim and Hrithik Roshan's Kabir (War) from an earlier time, which was teased in Pathaan.

Siddharth Reveals About A Hrithik-John Crossover

Further, he was asked whether a spy film with a Hrithik-John crossover was possible, Siddharth said,'Ya, why not, anything can happen. It's a universe (YRF Spy Universe) and you can do anything with the characters - it's a playground. You can have a prequel to Jim.. oh wait, what if Jim is not dead? What if there's a harness that pulls a parachute?'

Seems like the whole world is celebrating King Khan's comeback. Pathaan has made more than 6 crores at the global box office.
