The much-anticipated trailer of Netflix's upcoming film Do Patti has finally been released, and it's already generating a buzz. Starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon, the film promises a thrilling ride filled with mind games, romance, drama, and intense suspense. Set against the backdrop of sibling rivalry and psychological twists, Do Patti marks a significant milestone in Kriti Sanon's career as she steps into the role of producer for the first time. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting October 25.

The trailer kicks off with a tense interrogation scene featuring Kajol's character, police inspector Vidya Jyothi, questioning Shaheer Sheikh. In the police station, Kajol's character is investigating a mysterious case of attempted murder. She asks Shaheer to narrate the events that unfolded on the morning of the accident, setting the stage for the twisted plot that follows.

The story unfolds in the fictional hilly town of Devipur, where Kriti Sanon plays two key roles: the enigmatic Saumya Sood and the captivating Shailee. The plot takes the audience back to Shaheer's character's romantic involvement with Saumya, only to be interrupted by the arrival of Saumya's twin sister, Shailee. Tensions rise as Shailee tries to seduce Shaheer's character, Dhruv, and the sisters' relationship quickly deteriorate.

As the trailer progresses, it becomes clear that sibling rivalry, mental health, and personal boundaries are central themes of the story. Towards the end, one of the twins accuses Shaheer's character of attempted murder, which he vehemently denies. The narrative is seen through the eyes of Kajol's police officer, adding layers of intrigue and mystery.

Kajol and Kriti Sanon's Reunion

Do Patti marks a significant reunion between Kajol and Kriti Sanon, who previously worked together in the 2015 film Dilwale. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, this thriller has all the ingredients of a captivating story. Kajol, playing a cop for the first time in her career, said, 'As an actor, I have always looked forward to roles that allow me to connect with my audience. This being the first time I play a police officer, I can't wait for my fans to see me in this new avatar."

Kriti Sanon, who is also producing the film, shared her excitement, stating, 'Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it's my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on-screen.
