Dunki Drop 3: This Sonu Nigam Song Will Surely Tear You Up

Dunki Drop 3 is out, and it is heartwrenchingly beautiful. Sung with a soulful melody by Sonu Nigam, the song speaks of belonging to your homeland and how staying away from your country makes you feel. It evokes strong feelings of hope and resilience and is almost like an anthem for all those people living away from their homes.
Shah Rukh Khan shared the song and wrote a long note dedicating the song to all those who miss their home, their village, and their roots. He wrote, "Aaj aise hi dil mein aaya yeh gaana toh aapke saath share kar raha hoon. Raju aur Sonu naam se hi lagte hain ke apne hi koi honge. Aur yeh gaana joh dono ne banaya hai, yeh bhi apnon ka hai. Apne ghar waalon ki yaadon ka hai. Apni mitti ka hai."

Further, he added, "Apne desh ki baahon mein sukoon milne ka hai. Hum sab kabhi na kabhi apne ghar sehellipgaon sehellipshehar se door nikal jaate hain. Zindagi banane ke liye. Lekin dil hamaara apne gharon mein hi rehta hai. Desh mein hi rehta hai. Mera favorite from Dunki"
Shah Rukh Khan added that it is his favorite song from the film. He showered praise on Sonu Nigam and Rajkumar Hirani for making this song come to life. It was composed simplistically by Pritam.

Another striking quality of the song are its lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Written in his trademark simple style that digs deeper into your heart, the song almost has a lullaby-like feel to it. Sonu Nigam brings a painful appeal to the words, further underscoring their effect. It is difficult not to get teary-eyed while listening to it as you miss your home.
The Dunki Drop 3 is definitely going to make a place in everyone's hearts.
This is the second song from the film after Dunki Drop 2 released a rather fun dance song that has been doing the rounds everywhere now. Now, 'Nikle The Kabhi Ham Ghar Se' is also going to make a special place in people's hearts.
There is no video accompanying the song, and there are just some visuals from the film that are shown along with the tunes. It gives a glimpse into the film and promises it to be a gentle mix of fun and emotion. One can expect all of it from a Rajkumar Hirani film.
Dunki releases on December 21 and clashes at the box office with Salaar, starring Prabhas. It remains to be seen what the trailer for Dunki is like to get to know more about the story and the world it is set in.
