Earlier, the actress shared pictures of her wedding gown, which she repurposed into a black bodycon dress after separating from her former husband, Naga Chaitanya. Recently, the actress shared a cryptic post with the title 'I wanna see you win' on her Instagram handle. Fans are suspecting that the actress is rooting for Virat Kohli's team in the ongoing cricket matches.

In the post shared by Samantha, she wrote, 'Whatever your heart desires, whatever aspirations you hold, I am rooting for you. You are deserving of victory.' Fans were quick to guess that the message could be a show of support for the Bangalore cricket team. The team will face the Rajasthan cricket team at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on May 22 for an eliminator match.





Samantha Ruth Prabhu's support for her favorite team hasn't come like this for the first time. Previously, Samantha openly declared her admiration for the Bangalore team captain, Virat Kohli, on a cricket talk show. The Majili actress said, 'Virat Kohli is so inspiring. His dedication, grit, and commitment is just amazing and so inspiring to watch. He's made a lot of lives change with his grit and determination. I almost cried when Virat Kohli made a comeback and scored a century after that phase. He is an inspiration.'

The Super Deluxe actress is all set to appear in Raj and DK's directorial, Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan. The film will be an Indian adaptation of the American film of the same name, which starred Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. Sharing her views on Citadel's Indian remake, Priyanka Chopra said, 'Raj and DK are so amazing so talented, and they'll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I'm very excited.'

It is being reported that Samantha will perform intense action and thrilling scenes for the upcoming movie. Talking about her role in Citadel, Samantha said, It is very different in terms of action from what I did for The Family Man for the character of Raji. So it is different, and I'm very, very excited about the action in Citadel. Definitely, it is something I wanted to get from Raji, and I think that has happened. Some of the highlights of the series are action bits, and I am really looking forward to watching them on screen.
