Haseen Dillruba Trailer: Taapsee, Vikrant, Harshvardhan promise a riveting Netflix murder mystery

The makers of the upcoming Netflix film, 'Haseen Dillruba' revealed the trailer of the film, earlier on Friday afternoon, leading us into the arresting, colourful yet mystical world of Rani Kashyap, played by Taapsee Pannu.As a fan of pulpy Hindi thriller novels, Rani becomes the prime suspect when the gruesome murder of her engineer-straight-laced husband Rishabh, played by Vikrant Massey, rocks the town. The police and the neighbours corner her and through the course of the investigation, the truth about her alleged affair with her lover, Neel Tripathi, played by Harshvardhan Rane, comes out in the open. Rani feels like her life is playing out as the subject of the books she reads. Different perspectives of truth are waiting to be uncovered.Written by Kanika Dhillon and directed by Vinil Mathew, the film also stars Aditya Srivastava as the prime investigating officer, Yamini Das and Ashish Verma. Produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, 'Haseen Dillruba' premieres on Netflix from July 2nd, 2021 onwards.Watch the trailer below.
