Veteran superstar couple Dharmendra and Hema Malini celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this Thursday. The Dream Girl shared pictures from the couple's celebration for their anniversary on her X handle. It seems that the couple did a varmala ceremony on their wedding anniversary, who were also joined by their daughter, Esha Deol.

Taking to her X handle to share the pictures from her wedding anniversary celebrations, Hema Malini wrote, 'Photos from today at home.' In these pictures, the couple is seen wearing heavy varmalas, or garlands, while posing for pictures together. Hema Malini is seen in a red and white saree while Dharmendra is wearing a peach shirt. In another post shared on X, Hema Malini also shared a cute picture of her with her husband where he's giving her a small peck on the cheek. One of the photos also features the couple's daughter, Esha Deol.


Esha also wished her parents a happy anniversary by sharing the couple's picture on her Instagram handle. The Dhoom actress wrote, 'Happy anniversary to my papa amp mamma. I adore you, I love you amp I just want to hug you.'

In another post on Instagram, Hema Malini shared a nostalgic video of her and Dharmendra's pictures together. She wrote, 'Our wedding anniversary today! 44 years of togetherness, 2 beautiful girls, lovely gchildren surrounding us amp drowning us with their love! Our fans amp their limitless adulation! What more can I ask of life? Our eternal gratitude to the Almighty for this gift of happiness.' The sweet display of affection and the pictures together showcase the couple's adoration and love for each other.



More about Dharmendra and Hema Malini

Hema Malini and Dharmendra met for the first time when shooting for their film Tum Haseen Main Jawaan in 1970. About 10 years later, the couple tied the knot after facing multiple hurdles. The duo has appeared together in more than 45 films since then. Dharmendra and Hema Malini have two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. Before marrying Hema Malini, Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur, and they have two sons together, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
