AUGUST 22,2022

House Of The Dragons, a prequel of Game Of Thrones, released its first episode on August 22 and we noticed something unusual - the episode didn't have any opening credits sequence. All GoT fans were left questioned with this. The original show has an elaborative opening sequence which showcased the maps of Westeros and various houses in it.

After having a pre-defined theme, the Game Of Thrones fans were expecting the makers to notch up the prequel. Giving a reason to why there was no opening sequence, the showrunners said, "It was a creative choice. It seemed important that once the curtain went up so to speak, having a title sequence felt like an indulgence. We wanted to get on and tell the story."

Co-creators Ryan Condal and Miguel Sapochnik also mentioned the second episode will have an opening credits sequence.

It looks like fans have to wait till next week for House Of The Dragons opening credits sequence. Meanwhile, the prequel of GoT will feature 10 episodes. How excited are you for this show?
