RC Exclusive: Ibrahim Ali Khan To Start Shooting For Karan Johar`s Next In February, Deets Inside

A while back Radio City exclusively reported about Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan making his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's next production project. We have a new development on the same. The yet untitled Dharma productions movie will start its shooting in February and Ibrahim will be a vital part of the same.

Also starring South superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol in lead roles, the story of the film is set against the backdrop of Kashmir terrorism. We have now learned that Ibrahim Ali Khan will start shooting from February 2023 onwards.

A source close to the development said, 'While Ibrahim has already started preparing for his maiden role, he will start shooting for the film in February. He is required to have a certain look in the film and is diligently working on his physical transformation. Meanwhile, readings and workshops are going on simultaneously."

Ibrahim Ali Khan's Bollywood Debut

While the Kayoze Irani directorial will mark the star kid's debut, this isn't the first time Ibrahim will be showcasing his talent. The Junior Nawab has assisted Karan Johar in his directorial comeback Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, the director has already started the recce for the shoot.


About Kayoze Irani, he played the role of Kaizaad 'Sudo' Sodabottleopenerwala in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. For the unversed, he is Boman Irani's son. He has also helmed a segment in Netflix's 2021 release Ajeeb Daastaans - a part of the anthology that was headlined by Shefali Shah and Manav Kaul.
