Imran Khan to don the hat of a director?

After his highly appreciated debut in 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', Imran Khan was touted to be the next big thing in the same league as Ranbir Kapoor. Unfortunately the last couple of years have seen a spate of bad releases for the actor that have jolted his market position and since then, the actor has been on a sabbatical.We now hear that the hunky actor who has been a hands-on father to his daughter Imara, now wants to don the hat of a director and is currently planning a film with hairstylist-turned-writer Ayesha DeVitre.If this turns out to be true, then the duo will likely helm a film together. Ayesha, who recently won a Filmfare alongwith director Shakun Batra for best story and screenplay for 'Kapoor and Sons', is known to be very close to Imran Khan's wife Avantika Malik, and the duo have collaborated in the past on 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' and 'Katti Batti'.
