Jawan Advance Booking: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Collects 2 Cr. In The US Even Before Trailer Release

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has become one of the most anticipated movies even before its trailer has been released. After the prevue of Jawan was released, the movie garnered enough buzz from around the globe. Now, Jawan has already collected over Rs. 2 crore in the USA, as advanced bookings have started at over 450 locations in the West.


The trailer for Jawan is expected to be unveiled this week. The jaw-dropping numbers of advanced bookings for Jawan started even before its trailer release. As per a popular trade analyst, Manobala Vijayabalan, an estimated 13,750 tickets have been sold in America.

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the few Bollywood stars who enjoys a global presence. After Pathaan, his upcoming movie has gathered all the eyeballs and kept the fans waiting with baited breath.

While advance bookings for Jawan have kicked off in the US 20 days ahead of the film's release, they have yet to begin in India. A few other countries and centers have also begun advance bookings for the film.

Manobala took to Twitter on Monday and shared some interesting insights. The tweet read, 'Even before the trailer launch, Jawan crosses the $200K mark at the USA box office. Advance sales: $210,339 [ 1.74 cr] Locations: 450 Shows: 1884 Tickets: 13750."

While advance bookings for Jawan have yet to begin in India, the cinema exhibitors report that there has been good buzz around the film. Another trade expert, Visheck Chauhan, tweeted on Sunday that fans are requesting 3:00 a.m. shows for the film in two-tier cities in the country.

Film critic Raj Bansal also tweeted, "After Gadar 2, I feel @iamsrk's Jawan will have round-the-clock shows in various cinemas across India. The film is generating tremendous buzz among his fans. Good luck, Team Jawan."

The Atlee directorial brings together a stellar ensemble from across the country. Jawan is headlined by Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. It will also see Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra in prominent roles.

This marks South Indian superstar Nayanthara's big Bollywood debut. Jawan is all set to release on September 7 in cinemas near you.
