Within just the first day of advance bookings, the Prabhas-starrer raked in a staggering 9.49 crore, selling over 3.2 lakh tickets across the nation. This unprecedented opening has sent shockwaves through the industry, with experts predicting a record-breaking theatrical run for the film.

A report by Sacnilk.com reveals a breakdown of ticket sales by language. The Telugu version of Kalki 2898 AD unsurprisingly leads the pack, selling 2,65,035 tickets for 1,726 shows, grossing a remarkable 8.8 crore. Hindi audiences haven't been far behind, with 18,548 tickets sold across 1,979 shows, generating 54.8 lakh. Notably, the film is also creating waves overseas.

Prathyangira Cinemas, the North American distributor, reported that Kalki 2898 AD has already sold over 77,000 tickets in the USA, amassing a staggering $2.6 million in advance sales. This figure closely rivals the record held by SS Rajamouli's epic period drama, RRR, which secured $2.75 million in pre-sales within the US.
