Koffee With Karan 8: Karan Johar Announces Release Date Of New Season, Says "I`m Going To Invite..."

Karan Johar and his antiques of doing everything over the top will never fail to amuse us. Speaking of OTT, the filmmaker is back with the new season of his iconic chat show, Koffee With Karan. It will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Koffee With Karan 8 is only going to get hotter, spicier, and meatier.

In a new video shared by the Disney+ Hotstar, the filmmaker is seen talking to his 'Konscience', who is here to troll him. Karan Johar is seen in a dual role in the promo video as he brainstorms about what to add to Koffee With Karan 8.

In the video, Karan is seen laughing as Konscience comes to have a chat with him. "Did someone put something in your coffee the last season? You could've called it Kold Koffee With Karan," said the evil side of the filmmaker, who called the previous season of the chat show lame and boring.

Taking a dig further on him, the Konscience Karan added, "Were those 'cheese' jokes with your nepo babies supposed to be funny? Every episode was the same. A 50-year-old man asked 20-year-olds about their sex lives. Lame! Is it because you don't have a sexual life of your own?"


Post that. Karan Johar springs up and starts brainstorming. He says, "I'm going to invite the newest married couple in town,' to which Konscience mockingly asks, "And what? Play rapid pheras with them."

KJo further says, "I won't call star kids I'll call star grandkids. I'll invite cricketers! No, never, never." This over-the-top yet fun banter between the chat show host and his konscience is unending.

Sharing the promo video on Instagram, Karan Johar wrote, 'Turns out, my own Konscience wants to troll me too! But screw what he thinks, I'm still brewing Season 8!"

Opening up about the upcoming season of his cult classic chat show, Karan said, "We all know you have been eagerly awaiting the new season of Koffee with Karan, and your wishes have been heard! After the overwhelming response and a lot of conjectures from season 7, let's make my friends and your favorite celebrities spill their secrets along with the no-filter conversations on the infamous Koffee couch."

The new season of the much-awaited chat show will premiere on October 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
