Koffee With Karan 8: Rani Mukherji and Kajol on the Couch this season?

Excitement is soaring in the air with the return of the new season of Koffee With Karan. The first episode of Season 8 airs on October 26 with the much-loved Bollywood couple of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

However, there are talks about Kajol and Rani Mukherji coming together on the show. If this is true, the two will be seen in the show after 2007, when they last appeared along with Shah Rukh Khan.

It is a great occasion for the two to come along on the show, as their film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, has completed 25 years. It will be a pleasure to see them explore their dynamics with each other and compete for the rapid fire. The two have apparently given their nods to shoot for an episode.

This is delightful news, and it will be exciting to witness the episode of Koffee with Karan 8.

Not many are aware of this, but Rani Mukherji and Kajol are second cousins to each other. They looked absolutely adorable recently when they were spotted during the Durga Pooja celebrations in Mumbai. They even clicked a picture together, sending fans into a wave of nostalgia.

This season of Koffee With Karan is going to be a family edition, with many celebrity families planned to attend. Karan has asked for the dates for Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan to appear on the show together however, there has been no confirmation till now.

Suhana will be seen in the upcoming film The Archies, which marks her debut in Bollywood.

Speaking about the first episode of Koffee with Karan 8 with Deepika and Ranveer, Karan called the two 'Bollywood Royalty'. A recently released teaser gave a glimpse into the episode, which proves to be a heartwarming experience that combines the energies of Ranveer and the charm of Deepika.

On the workfront, Kajol was last seen in the webseries The Trial, where her performance was well-received. Apart from that, she was also part of one short film in the anthology, Lust Stories 2. Her last theatrical release was Salaam Venky in 2022.

On the other hand, Rani Mukherji stunned everyone with her performance in the drama film Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway. It was released earlier this year, in March, and did decently at the box office.
