The highly anticipated trailer for Mirzapur season 3 has finally dropped, promising a season drenched in gore, sex, and gang politics. Set against the backdrop of the fictional Purvanchal region in India, the crime thriller depicts the descent into chaos that follows the deaths of mafia kingpins Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) and his son Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma).

Guddu Bhaiya Takes Charge, But Rivals Lurk

The trailer opens with a bang, literally. We see Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), now a self-proclaimed king, taking a sledgehammer to a statue of the deceased Tripathi. This act of defiance sets the tone for a season filled with violence and power struggles. However, Guddu's reign is short-lived, as the trailer reveals several other contenders vying for the throne.

The seductive Beena Tripathi (Rasika Dugal) is seen manipulating Guddu while authorities close in. Cops and intelligence agencies relentlessly pursue him, while his own father shockingly testifies against him in court.

Adding a layer of intrigue, the trailer opens with glimpses of every major character who has met their demise on the show. This serves as a chilling reminder of the ruthless world of Mirzapur. But the biggest shocker comes at the very end.

We see Akhandanand Tripathi, played by Pankaj Tripathi, emerge from the shadows, vowing to reclaim his empire. "This throne, this legacy... my father and I built it," Tripathi declares menacingly. "I'll do something that nobody has done in the history of Purvanchal." Pankaj Tripathi's return as the vengeful Kaleen Bhaiya sends shivers down viewers' spines, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown.
