The makers of Mr. and Mrs. Mahi released the second track from the film's music album. The highly anticipated film stars Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in a sports drama that promises love, ambition, and hope. The three and a half minute music video titled 'Agar Ho Tum' features the romantic lead enjoying the small things in life together as lifetime companions. They both share a common love, cricket, which ultimately brings them closer to each other.

The music video features the characters of Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as newlyweds who are learning about each other's hobbies and joys. The chemistry between the two actors is immaculate, as the audience can feel the love and excitement behind their blossoming love.

Agar Ho Tum is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Jubin Nautiyal. The lyrics for the song were penned by Kausar Munir. The music video is set in the picturesque background of Jaipur, where the lead couple get married and live together in the film.

The music video also showcases how Mahinder, played by Rajkummar Rao, recognises his wife's talent in cricket and urges her to pursue her dreams. We see how he trains her and looks after her well-being so that she can be an excellent cricketer. For the uninitiated, Janhvi Kapoor went through rigorous training for two years for the role, even dislocating her shoulder once.

Composer and playback singers talk about Agar Ho Tum

Tanishk Bagchi, the composer of the soundtrack, said, 'Agar Ho Tum is a fresh romantic element to the album. Jubin Nautiyal, the playback singer famous for tracks like Raataan Lambiyan from Shershaah and Zindagi Kuch Toh Bata from Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has voiced the new song. He said, 'The emotions and words align with the situation in the film, and Rajkummar and Janhvi's chemistry has shined through the song. The lyrics instantly resonate, and we have tried to infuse the song with deep emotions to truly honour its essence. The perfect choice of words and a brilliant composition bring out the best.'

Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with the film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, with Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. The film will be released on May 31 in theatres.
