MTV Video Music Awards 2023: Taylor Swift Walks Away With 9 WMAs Including Best Video Of The Year

Another music award night, another monstrous win for Taylor Swift. The queen of pop music was the biggest winner at the MTV Video Music Awards 2023. She walked in with the most nominations and left with nine music awards, including Best Video of the Year.

Held on Tuesday, the MTV Video Music Awards 2023 were graced by the biggest musicians and celebrities of Hollywood. Taylor Swift became the second-most awarded artist in the history of the show. She also tied for the most wins in one night.

This is the second year in a row where Swift has taken home the night's top prize after winning Video Of The Year for her song, All Too Well (10-minute version). The pop star even earned her 15th Moon Person trophy early into the night. She was presented the award by NSYNC, which made her visibly excited as she accepted the trophy.


'This is unbelievable. The fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me,' Taylor said in her acceptance speech. She further added, 'It's really felt like the adventure of a lifetime this past year. I cannot believe that it was a year ago at the VMAs that I announced the 'Midnights' album. All I have to say tonight is thank you."

Taylor Swift even pointed at the five-member band (NSYNC) and said, "I had your dolls. You're pop personified." The singer later won the Song of the Year award alongside Miley Cyrus Flower and SZA's Kill Bill.

Marking her 16th win, she thanked her close friend and producer, Jack Antonoff, for their first collaboration together on her 1989 album.

The night of the VMAs 2023 also saw some incredible wins for some prominent songs that gained global fame. Every year, the MTV Video Music Awards glorify and celebrate the musicians of Hollywood who introduce stellar music to their fans and listeners.
