One of the most anticipated movies that the whole nation is waiting for, Devara: Part 1 is just days away from its theatrical release. The Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer will also see Saif Ali Khan as the menacing antagonist.

Ahead of its release, fans were excited to join the Devara pre-release event, which was supposed to be held in Hyderabad on September 22. Unfortunately, what was meant to turn into a grand occasion turned into an ugly chaos, leading to its cancellation.

The upcoming Telugu action drama has been garnering massive attention from moviegoers. To tap on the same excitement, the makers organized a pre-release event just days before its release. However, certain unforseen circumstances forced them to cancel the gathering.

The reason for cancellation of Devara's pre-release event was the Ganesh Nimarjanam (Ganesh Visarjan), which ideally sees large-scale gatherings in and around the city. Moreover, heavy rains posed a logistical hurdle.

The statement further read, "The massive turnout of fans despite our best efforts became uncontrollable as barricades were broken due to the overwhelming crowd. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and are truly sorry for the situation. Thank you for your understanding and support. Team Devara."
