Not Capable Of Leading The Role, Aamir Khan Steps Back From Acting

As reported earlier, Aamir Khan and RS Prasanna are collaborating on an inspirational sports film, which is an official adaptation of the Spanish film, Campeones (Champions). The film was supposed to be produced by Aamir under his banner, Aamir Khan Production, with Sony Pictures India.

In March 2022, Aamir confirmed the film and told that the discussions are going on. But it's shocking to know that he is no longer acting in the film. Aamir and Sony Pictures India had multiple meetings over the last few months and finally concluded that they would team up on something bigger. While he has stepped back from acting in Campeones as he is not capable of being an actor in this movie, he will continue to be associated with the film as a producer.

The script and screenplay have not been revealed yet. As per the sources, the film will kick off next year with a new actor. The film will now be produced under the label of Aamir Khan Productions with Sony Pictures International Productions and 200 Not Out Productions.

Aamir Khan is taking a break and spending some time with his mom and children. He will continue to shoot as soon as he gets a good script which will compensate for his last film, Laal Singh Chaddha which did not receive the love as expected.
