The 96th Oscars 2024 are trending all across the internet, and the winners have already created a huge buzz. While Oppenheimer continues to rule the charts, it was Emma Stone who won her second Academy Award as a lead actress for Poor Things.
The movie was all about an adult woman who dies of suicide and is brought back to life, but with the implanted brain of a child. Emma Stone plays the character of an uninhibited, sexually active woman. Poor Things goes on to show some bold and audacious sex scenes and full-frontal male and female nudity.
Did you know that the director of Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos, wanted to hire an intimacy director to train Emma Stone for sex scenes? However, the actress rejected the idea of working with an intimacy coordinator, thinking she could pull it off.

The DP, Robbie Ryan, and I did The Favorite together, and I feel comfortable with him. Our first AD is a woman, Hayley, who's incredible. Our focus puller is a woman. You know, I felt like I'd be fine in this circumstance. And these are my friends, and I know everybody well,' she said.
However, things took a drastic and dramatic turn when she met Elle McAlpine, the intimacy coordinator for Poor Things.
