Every Bollywood buff was once or is still a Hrithik fan. On his birthday, the actor's parents penned a heartfelt note for him.

Hrithik Roshan is the son of popular Bollywood actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. The director launched his son in 2000 with the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, and the world hasn't been the same ever since.

Hrithik became an instant national crush, with thousands of female fans wanting his attention. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster, and thus started his journey to become a superstar. On his 50th birthday, his parents, Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan, took to Instagram and penned down a sweet note.

Taking it to Instagram, the Koi... Mil Gaya director wrote a rather sweet note for Hrithik. Celebrating his half century of life, Rakesh shared a recent picture with the Fighter actor.

His caption read, "Duggu, happy half century. Cheers to 50 years of love, unforgettable memories, and many incredible achievements ahead! Lots of love and blessings.'

The father-son duo was seen twinning in black and were all smiling as they posed for the camera. Hrithik looked dapper in a solid black t-shirt, while the filmmaker looked uber cool in a black jacket.

Taking a trio down memory lane was the actor's mother, Pinky Roshan. She shared a collage of Hrithik's childhood picture and a snippet from his upcoming film, Fighter.

She penned a long note and wrote, 'These 2 photos represent the same pure soul with a golden heart. From 5 months to 50, your journey may be shared across celluloid and social media with millions, but those who know and love you know that you've always been larger than life. You have spent 50 years on this earth, bringing joy to so many, yet I have known you from the moment you were a heartbeat, and the immense happiness you radiated was felt exclusively and purely within me. Many nights I'd sleep with my heartbeat singing its lullaby and soothing yours as it grew within my spirit.'


Pinky's caption further read, 'When you arrived, you belonged to the world, and you chose to spread joy, make people laugh, dance, and feel alive. You've stood up for the downtrodden, empathized with everyone from all walks of life, and respected women in a manner that not only sets an example for your wonderful growing boys but also puts other men to shame. Your entire life has been about serving others and helping them reach their true potential, touch nirvana, and go beyond the limits they've put on themselves. How? Through your example, you practice what you preach, and it's not for any reason other than that you want everyone to be happy and celebrate life, just as you do.'

'Your happiness means the world to me, and be it 5 months or 50, you'll always be my son, whom I love unconditionally. You make me proud and inspire me at the same time. On the work front

Hrithik Roshan will be next seen in Siddharth Anand's Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. He will be playing the role of a fighter pilot who is on a mission to save his country.

The movie also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in prominent roles. Fighter is all set to release on January 25 in cinemas near you.
