This year seems to be all about celebrating love, laughter, families, and a happily ever after. With many actresses either announcing their pregnancy or having already embraced motherhood, we are excited to see who will be the next name on the list.

For the uninitiated, many divas like Richa Chadha and Deepika Padukone welcomed their little ones this year, while Radhika Apte took the internet by storm as she announced her pregnancy in October.

With all the great things going on, let's see which couples have or are going to embrace parenthood in 2024.

1. Yami Gautam

The Vicky Donor actress was in her second trimester when the news of her pregnancy spread like widfire. The couple didn't officially announce the good news on social media. It was at their upcoming movie's trailer launch event that the two confirmed the good news.

On May 10, Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar were blessed with a baby boy, whom they named Vedavid.

Sharing the news on Instagram, the new parents wrote, "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beloved son, Vedavid, who graced us with his birth on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya. Please shower him with all your kind blessings and love."


After URI: The Surgical Strike, Yami and Aditya teamed up together for Article 370. The film released on February 23 and was a massive blockbuster at the box office.

2. Anushka Sharma

The couple, who love to keep their personal lives away from the media, welcomed their second child, a son whom they named Akaay, on February 15. Anushka Sharma delivered her son in London.


Sharing the great news, Virat Kohli wrote, "With abundant happiness and our hearts all filled with love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on February 15th, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika's little brother into this world!"

The actress-cricketer couple are already parents to their first daughter, Vamika.

3. Kavya Gowda

The Kannada actress and her businessman husband, Somashekhar, were also expecting their first child in 2024. The couple welcomed a baby girl whom they named Siya.

The Fukrey actress and her husband, Ali Fazal, took the internet by storm on Friday. They shared a heartwarming post on Instagram in the form of an unusual math equation that read, "1+1=3." They welcomed a baby girl in July.

The Padmaavat actress took the internet by storm on February 29 as she announced her first pregnancy with Ranveer Singh. The couple who married in 2018 welcomed a baby girl in September.

6. Yuvika Chaudhary

Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula announced their pregnancy this year and took the internet by storm. They shared an adorable post on Instagram with a heartfelt caption.

Later, the actress even shared a glamorous maternity shoot where she looked stunning as she flaunted her baby bump in style.

7. Radhika Apte

The Sacred Games star took the internet by storm after she flaunted her baby bump on the red carpet of the BFI London Film Festival. Though she hasn't exclusively said anything about her pregnancy, Radhika looked stunning in a black off-shoulder dress.


Radhika Apte is expecting her first child with husband Benedict Taylor. The two tied the knot in 2012.
