Raksha Bandhan Trailer: Celebrate Rakhi With Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar`s Emotional Roller Coaster

The most anticipated film "Raksha Bandhan" finally released its trailer. On Tuesday, the team posted the official trailer on social media. Akshay Kumar took Twitter to share the teaser with the caption, "Wahan har rukaavat ka samadhaan bhi hota hai, jahan parivaar ka pyaar hota hai. Watch the Raksha Bandhan trailer right away."
Akshay Kumar shared the poster of the movie on his Instagram account before the release of the trailer stating, "Knowing each other's secrets, pleasures, and hearts is what it means to be together. Life is community. What would life be like without a family? Come be a part of this lovely family. For you, we are waiting."
The opening line of the trailer reads "Sometimes being a brother is better than being a superhero". In the trailer, Akshay is shown keeping his commitment given to his mother. He has the responsibility for his four sisters and he wishes to get all of them married. He is shown dating Bhumi Pednekar in the film. When Bhumi asks him about getting married, he responds that once his sisters got married, which makes the actress furious. The trailer shows a brother going to great lengths to marry off his sisters and prioritize them above all. The clip also shows the problem of dowry in society.
The movie is helmed by Aanand L Rai. This is Akshay's second project with Bhumi Pednekar after 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'
At the box office, Raksha Bandhan will clash with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor's Laal Singh Chadda. Both the films are set to be released in theatres on 11th August.
When asked about the clash from Akshay, he said, "It's not a clash. It's about good movies coming together. And, it's a big day. Due to Covid-19, many films did not release and some are still waiting to get a release date. So, it's natural more films will release together. I hope both films have a good run."
