Animal is all over the news, with interview bytes from Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol making the rounds everywhere. The pre-release buzz for the film is just unreal. Ranbir Kapoor plays a really complex character in the film, like he never has in his entire career.

Now, another clip from one of the promotional events is going viral. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor reveals how Alia Bhatt helped and supported him while he played the violent character for the film.

He said, "Alia and I speak so much about each other's work. I really respect her as an artist, and I really respect her mind and how she thinks. Every scene or every day when I go to shoot the film, I discuss it with her, and she has helped me with so many scenes. She has helped me with scenes where I was scared as an actor, 'Is it sounding too wrong?"

He revealed how he had never worked on a role before this, and it was completely out of his comfort zone. He further added, "I have never pushed the boundaries so much as a character. I have always tried to portray goodness on the screen. She played that barometer, saying, 'Listen, it is fine. It's a character, and it is making sense. There is an idea and thought behind it.' She has been a strong supporter when this film is concerned."

Ranbir Kapoor had earlier spoken about how he would try really hard to separate himself from the character as he came back home to his daughter Raha. How he had to create that distance so that he didn't bring that negative energy around her

Ranbir and Alia are each other's strongest support systems. When the trailer for Animal was released, Alia posted it on Instagram and wrote, "I can't really type a full caption I'm too busy watching this trailer for the 7000th time. My mind is officially blown. I need to watch this movie. Like now. ANIMAL: setting cinemas on fire from the 1st of December. Brace yourselves."

Animal is all set to release strongly on December 1, as it clashes with Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal.
