Remembering KK: The Iconic Singer’s Last Song To Be Released On Monday

This year marked one of the darkest phases in the Indian music industry. We lost gems like Lata Mangeshkar, Bappi Lahiri, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Sidhu Moose Wala, and recently, KK. It was like the end of an era. Speaking of KK, who recently bid to us, his last song is all set to release today.

Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga, Srijit Mukherji's multi-award-winning film, released its trailer online Friday morning. Following this, KK's "Dhoop Paani Behne De" will be released on Monday. Shantanu Moitra composed the song, which was written by Gulzar Sahab.

On May 31, the iconic singer KK passed died while performing for a local college event at Kolkata's city of joy.

Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Sayani Gupta, and Neeraj Kabi - Sherdil is a film based on a true story. It shows how urbanization, man-animal conflicts, and poverty leads to strange practices in a village on the outskirts of a protected forest.

In a press statement while asking about the film Srijit stated, Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga has been a dream project for years. After I read about the real-life incidents in 2017, I immediately wrote the story and registered it, and was wanting to make it for the longest time. So finally after 5 years, the dream comes true and we bring you the story of Gangaram on the big screen.

The ultimate demise of KK has left his fans and the music industry in shock. The era of KK shall never die in our hearts. It is part of our childhood and teenage memories. Aankho Me Teri, Tadap Tadap Ke, Yaaron, and Pyaar Ke Pal were some of his popularly loved songs. Whenever you are having a rough day, just plug into his songs and everything will be fine.
