People are coming out of theaters after witnessing the dark action saga and calling it goosebumps-inducing. One user wrote about the film, "The Elevation, The Action, The Emotions, The BGM, but, above all, Friendship is the core of this movie. Amazing scenes. Pure GOOSEBUMPS material."

Another user praised the world-building and the atmosphere of the film. He wrote, "It's a blockbuster movie Prabhas acting is steel the show and direction are top-level Mass Blockbuster Movie The Rebel is back. TSUNAMI LOADING."

One more user wrote in his Salaar Twitter review, "#Prabhas looks great, and his cutout was a next-level cinematic experience. After a long time, we can witness his mass-screen presence on the big screen. REBEL STAR IN ACTION SEQUENCES will be a treat to watch."

Salaar Advance Booking Day 1

The advance booking of Salaar started on a good note, as it managed to reach over 48 crores just hours before the film's release. It will definitely open big on day 1, making more than 50 crore across the country. It is released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi simultaneously. The biggest surge in advance bookings was seen in the Telugu belt, which is the home ground for Prabhas.

Salaar released with an A certificate for its violent action sequences and mature themes. Speaking about the same, director Prashanth Neel said that his intention was never to make a violent film that would get an A.

He said, "I have seen Telugu cinema for the past 25-30 years, and sometimes I feel my actions are pale in comparison to the action it had. But they have drawn out new guidelines, and the censor officers also told me this is what it is."

He also added that he was very disappointed with the decision and just sat quietly for 15-20 minutes in front of the censor board.

Further, he said, "I know I have not made a vulgar movie or a movie that handles violence senselessly. It is all necessary violencemdashmore than what I have put in KGF. I thought this movie needed it because it is about friendship and sacrifice, and about one character who doesn't involve himself in anything that's happening in the world."
