Salman Khan And Rajinikanth To Come Together For Atlee`s Next, Deets Inside

This is the year filled with anticipation and exciting announcements, especially when it comes to crazy collaborations and much-awaited crossovers. With north meeting south to create seamless cinematic magic, this time Salman Khan and Rajinikanth are all set to come together for yet another blockbuster.

For the uninitiated, the two superstars will share the screen for the first time in their careers. While Rajinikanth has worked in several Bollywood movies, Salman Khan has recently started to make his mark in regional cinema.

Bringing them together is none other than Jawan director Atlee Kumar, who garnered massive love from across the globe for his last project, which was headlined by Shah Rukh Khan.

After working with SRK on a film that dominated 2023 by breaking all box-office records, the Tamil director is all set to work with yet another massive Bollywood star.

Reportedly, both Salman and Rajinikanth are in talks with the filmmaker for his next big action film. The film is yet to be titled.

A source close to Bollywood Hungama revealed some interesting details about the production and other details. However, the storyline, plot, and other details have been kept under wraps.


The source said, "Sun Pictures will be producing the film, and they share a family-like bond with superstar Rajinikanth. Atlee, on the other hand, has been in touch with Salman Khan for the last two years. They are confident in getting both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan on board."

According to reports and other sources, the makers intend to greenlight the film by the end of this year.

"Salman Khan aims to start the Atlee film after wrapping up Sikandar. Superstar Rajinikanth, on the other hand, will take this up after Coolie. It is a combination to be remembered for generations," the insider further added.

Salman Khan's South debut

The Tiger 3 actor, who has ruled Bollywood with his incredible performances for decades, is all set to collaborate with one of the finest Tamil filmmakers. Salman and A.R. Murgadoss will be seen working together for Sikandar.

For the uninitated, Murgadoss has directed several blockbuster movies such as Ghajini, Darbar, Gabbar is Back, and Akira, among others.

Salman Kahn announced the film earlier in April. He took to social media and wrote, "Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo... Wishing you all Eid Mubarak! Sajid Nadiadwala presents Sikandar. Directed by @a.r.murugadoss (watch Bade Miyan, Chote Miyan, and Maidaan this Eid, and come meet Sikandar next Eid)."

Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role. The film will release on Eid 2025.
