Salman Khan House Firing: Police Catch the Two Accused Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal

The two people who fired shots outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence were nabbed within 24 hours of the incident. The accused, Vikas alias Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were arrested by the Crime Branch's Unit 9. The team was led by Inspector Daya Nayak, who arrested the two gunmen from Bhuj in Gujarat.

Vikas, alias Vicky Gupta, and Sagar Shrijogendra Pal blindly fired 4-5 shots at Salman Khan's balcony on the morning of April 14. The two were on a motorcycle and immediately fled the scene. Footage from a nearby CCTV camera showed them wearing caps to cover their faces and carrying backpacks.The second-hand bike was bought by the accused from Panvel in Raigad district. A few hours later, the bike was found abandoned near Mount Mary Church in Bandra. According to the police, the person in whose name the bike was registered was also a resident of Panvel. The previous owner had sold the bike a few days ago. According to reports, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal stayed in Navi Mumbai for the last 22 days before carrying out their plan. Both the perpetrators hail from Bihar. Vicky Gupta was reportedly previously associated with Rohit Godara, also a notorious member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Within hours of the incident, Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. Adding to the evidence, the gang's shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, confessed to the police that they carried out the crime at the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently behind bars. The notorious gangster is in Tihar Jail for several murders, including those of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and Karni Sena leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
The police said the gunmen threw their weapons into a river in Surat, Gujarat, while fleeing. On interrogation, the perpetrators said their intention was to threaten Salman Khan, not kill him.
The police have beefed up the Bollywood actor's security team and advised him to stay indoors and not leave the house unless absolutely necessary. Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde contacted Salman Khan to offer his support and assure him that the culprits would be arrested soon.
