The much-anticipated teaser of Salman Khan's upcoming action thriller Sikandar has been delayed. The teaser, initially slated for release on December 27, coinciding with Salman Khan's 59th birthday, was postponed following the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on December 26.

Teaser Rescheduled Out of Respect

The makers of Sikandar announced the change early Friday morning. In a heartfelt statement shared by Sajid Nadiadwala's production house, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, they said, 'In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. Our thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning. Thank you for understanding. - #TeamSikandar.'

The teaser will now release on December 28, allowing fans a short wait to catch the first glimpse of this action-packed film.

What We Know About Sikandar

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar promises a blend of explosive action sequences and an intense storyline. The makers offered a sneak peek by releasing the film's first poster on December 26, featuring Salman Khan in a rugged avatar. The poster shows the actor in a suit, holding a spear, with his face partially obscured, adding to the intrigue surrounding his character.

Salman himself shared the poster on his social media, revealing the teaser's original release date and hinting at the gripping nature of the film. He captioned it with a promise of 'action and thrill.'

Sikandar is yet another collaboration between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, following their successful films like Kick and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles, adding to its star appeal. Scheduled for an Eid 2025 release, Sikandar has already created a buzz with its powerful lineup.
